Syntheri Rocks is one of the must visit places in Dandeli. It is a monolithic structure that is inscribed into caves by the robust stream current, which is in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. The 300 ft (ca. 91 m) Rocks with speeding waters of stream Kaneri flowing through the structure offers a powerful view that is worth looking at.

The Name Syntheri Rocks was named after a British Adventurer Ms. Cinthera who discovered this cave. The Rocks are lined with bee hives the rocks are hollow because of erosion thus it is not suggested to rush into the water. The location is good for people who are seeking peace with a breath taking view to gaze upon and never ending shots to take for.

The journey towards Syntheri can be covered up by jeeps and bikes with an approximate distance of 35kms that takes you thru the winding section of the ghats and untarred road that merges into the wilderness followed by stepping 100-150 steps to reach the sight.
